TSB Showplace

The TSB Showplace is a heritage venue with theatrical ambience and is the main theatre and conference venue in Taranaki.  It is situated close to accommodation, bars and eateries, and the iconic Coastal Walkway.

TSB Showplace is a functional, entertaining and engaging multi-purpose venue. It is a technologically-driven venue, while maintaining a unique character and history.The complex has several venue options that can cater for everything from training workshops to large international touring productions and conferences.

The TSB Theatre and the Theatre Royal are the two main auditoriums, both unique in character. The TSB Theatre (previously known as the Opera House) is ornately decorated and exudes theatrical ambience, while the Theatre Royal is a multi-purpose performance auditorium.

The Theatre Royal Lounge with an elegant aesthetic, this sophisticated space has an opulent design feel making it ideal for networking functions and launch events.

The Bryan Robb Lounge and Balcony bar with it’s contemporary furnishings makes this a popular space for weddings and conferences.  It also provides great indoor-outdoor flow with a view over New Plymouth’s main street.

The Alexandra Room provides a blank canvas for themed events, weddings, corporate functions, seminars, expos and workshops with excellent acoustics for smaller musical performances.
