Focal Point Cinema & Cafe Palmerston North offers a unique dining and cinematic experience with plush 1920’s décor, fantastic comfort and a warm friendly atmosphere. Located at 223 Cuba Street in the popular George Street hospitality area and only a short walk from The Square, in the centre of Palmerston North. At Focal Point Cinema and Café we offer over 120 movie sessions per week with a range of mainstream, arthouse and international films. A fully licenced café/restaurant is open from 8am to late offering cabinet and menu food throughout the day and into the evening. Our four cinemas offer luxurious leather seating with extra leg room and the option of converting pairs of single seats into cosy two-seater couches. Product launches, information evenings, client gatherings, presentations or seminars – all are possible in our flexible and accommodating conference facilities upstairs.
