Situated on 114 hectares of natural surrounds just 15 minutes from Hamilton CBD and two minutes from Hamilton Airport, Mystery Creek Events Centre is a world-class multi-use facility with the ability and experience to cater to events of any size, scale or type.

Our seven purpose-built exhibition and event spaces offer clients a wide range of venues to choose from for corporate meetings, large functions, exhibitions, conferences, festivals, tradeshows and more. These spaces are complemented by our meticulously restored Agricultural Heritage Village and an abundance of outdoor space that spans the property. 

No matter the event, Mystery Creek’s experienced team will guide clients through all aspects of their event from the initial inquiry through to pack-out. Mystery Creek is dedicated to delivering memorable events for local, national and international businesses.

Our Spaces

Event Spaces:

Outdoor – With 114 hectares of natural surrounds and the beautiful Waikato River running adjacent, Mystery Creek’s vast outdoor space provides endless opportunities to host events that require outdoor activities.

The Pavilion – At 8,064m2 The Pavilion sits centre stage of Mystery Creek and is a premier space for exhibitions, trade shows, industry shows, large conventions, concerts and festivals. Grandstand and flat floor seating can be combined to create a 5000-seat stage-focused venue. Facilities include a fully equipped commercial kitchen with large food preparation area and ample power connections. As well as toilets and shower facilities, dressing rooms, a green room with a lounge and make-up space, changing rooms, and parking for up to 10,000 vehicles.

Convention Centre – The Mystery Creek Convention Centre is the perfect corporate event venue, adding a versatile 2000m² of modern exhibition, gala dinner and conference space to the already-impressive Mystery Creek Pavilion. The Convention Centre can be used as a stand-alone facility or in conjunction with the Pavilion, which combined can seat up to 8,000 theatre style. This venue can seat 1500 guests theatre style, 900 banquet style and can cater for 200 cocktail style.

The Gallagher – Designed with versatility in mind, the modern Gallagher building is the ideal space for professional conference organisers. At 800m², The Gallagher is the ideal place to hold conferences, corporate functions, plenary sessions and business meetings with delegates.

The Bledisloe – The Bledisloe is a unique event facility located in the picturesque Agricultural Heritage Village – a beautiful and peaceful park-like setting. At 1090m², the Bledisloe is a flexible function and event space that can be adapted to suit your requirements, big or small with an indoor/outdoor flow. At full capacity this venue can hold up to 500 theatre style, and up to 400 for a seated dinner.

Heritage Village- At 8,350m² the Heritage Village offers a unique environment for functions, both intimate and on a larger scale. Within the Heritage Village sits a lot of Waikato’s history, with a small-town garage, school, hospital, blacksmith, church and the former Kihikihi jail, as well as the National Dairy Museum.
