For many years, Puzzling World has been at the forefront of Wanaka tourism,

Welcoming over 4 million customers through its doors since opening in 1973.

This large number of people and the space required to cater for such numbers means Puzzling World enjoys large open areas ideal for large group bookings and hosting events.

Whether a large indoor venue or outdoor space is required, Puzzling World has the ability to help make the chosen event a memorable one for all concerned.

With seating for over 120 people in the Puzzle Centre, 100 people in the courtyard and 2 acres of rolling lawn, our location rates as second to none in terms of group facilities.

Our newest room, The Sculptillusion Gallery offers a superb large indoor space to host an evening function whilst surrounded by incredible pieces from some of NZ’s best sculptors.

Having hosted weddings, receptions, plays, concerts, community fairs, sponsored events, council meetings, cocktail functions and many other events we have a proven ability to deliver a unique venue.

Nibbles and Drinks

We can arrange supply of hot/cold nibbles and beer/wine for 20 to 250 guests in either the Puzzle Centre (casual) or Sculptillusion Gallery (more formal).

Guided Tours

We offer a guided tour through our incredible Illusion Rooms offering insights into why our brains are fooled into believing illusionary perspectives.

Maze Race

Our floodlit Maze offers guests the rare chance to experience a southern tourist icon in the evening, with the possibility of including a treasure-hunt within.

Prize Giving

We can offer puzzle prizes for groups who wish to compete for glory amongst a myriad of tricky puzzles, logic games and IQ testers.
